Can you believe summer is almost over?! With a few weeks left until it’s acceptable to order your PSL (if ya know, ya know!), enjoy these summertime recipes for your next gathering!

You can use peaches from the local farmer’s markets (Mt. Lebanon, Washington, North Side Pittsburgh and South Fayette have amazing farmers’ markets in the Pittsburgh area!) And head down to Penn Mac in Pittsburgh’s Strip District for some AMAZING Procuittio!

Frozen Peach Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Frozen Sliced Peaches

  • 1 bottle Rosé Wine

  • ¼ cup honey (local honey from Bedillion Farms in Hickory, PA is an awesome option!)

  • Fresh Peach Slices & Fresh Rosemary for Garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a blender with the frozen peaches, Rosé, and honey.

  2. Blend on high until fully combined and smooth.

  3. Garnish with peach slices and fresh rosemary.

  4. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Proscuitto Wrapped App

Ingredients

  • 1 Cantelope

  • 8oz fresh Mozerella Balls

  • Basil leaves

  • 12-14 Slices of Procuitto

  • For garnish - balsalmic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Scoop out pieces of cantelope with a melon baller (you could also cut chunks if you don’t have a melon baller!)

  2. Assemble ingredits on a small skewer - melon ball, mozerella, basil leaf, folded proscuitto, repeat! This will make 24 small skewers - or make 12 large skewers!

  3. Drizzle with balsalmic vinegar & Serve!
