Who says the Easter bunny isn’t an essential service worker?
Though many celebrations have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Easter doesn’t have to be one of them. There are plenty of ways to make Easter special while following the Pennsylvania stay-at-home protocols.
Here are some ideas for ideas to keep the kids entertained today, tomorrow, and all spring long!

If you don’t have an Easter Egg dye kit at home, you can make your own homemade dye using water and white vinegar as your base and strained juice from fruits and veggies like beets, purple cabbage, blueberries, and onion skins. You can also use food coloring or natural dyes. By using this natural method, you can even boil the eggs and refrigerate them for up to a week.
If dyeing eggs is not an option, water-based markers and other craft materials should do the trick. Remember, it’s not about getting a picture-perfect decoration, it’s about making something together.
